English NREMT course – קורס
We are trying to gauge interest in an English NREMT course taught in collaboration with Kehillat Eretz Hemdah. Thanks for helping us!
The course would take place at the shul beginning after the Chagim and ending around April, totalling 15 in-person classes. The class would be co-ed and has an online component in addition to the in-person classes. You would earn both an American registered EMT certification and an Israeli medic certification. Thanks to a generous donation by an anonymous donor, the normal $1500 registration fee would be waived for those who contribute $500 to United Hatzalah and $500 to Kehillat Eretz Hemda. Those unable to meet these financial requirements should indicate this in the comments section. ALL classes will be held at Eretz Hemdah, Bruria 2, Jerusalem.
Minimum requirements to enroll:
21 years old or older
Good mental and physical health
Please note: Completing the course does not automatically make you a United Hatzalah Volunteer.

All Classes must be attended, if you are unable to attend a class, please notify your instructor beforehand and schedule a make-up. Missed classes must be made up at the student’s expense. All students are expected to spend approximately 15 hours of preparation, completing all online reading, assignments, and quizzes before each in-person class.
